In the development of this research, the employed methodology was the Bibliographical Research, that as Mascarenhas (2009) is: Considered the mother of all research, it is based on sources bibliographical, that is, written sources, therefore, to a specific document modality, that is written workmanships … (p.135) had been consulted some sites of the Internet and some books and printed matters (reviewed and brochures) on the thematic one. The choice of the subject if gave due to controversy as for the contradiction observed in relation to the measures of prevention, that is, can be considered very easy to prevent the affection, however, many people? due to information or for recklessness? they do not make its part and they finish for placing the health and until the life of its familiar, neighboring ones, friends and the proper one at risk. Chapter I presents a historical retrospect, a line of the time of the affection, analyzing the sprouting, the development and the incidence of the illness since its discovery until the current days. They are also presented given statisticians on the situation of the affection in Brazil and the world. Chapter II brings information on the form of presentation of illness, the types of affection, the characteristics of each type, its symptoms and the medical diagnosis for each case.
Chapter III indicates attitudes of prevention and combat to the affection and details its treatment, beyond discoursing on the difficulties found for the governing and the professionals pledged in this combat. Chapter IV characterizes the Aedes mosquito aegypti, transmitter of the affection and on its epidemiologia, so that this can be identified and be differentiated of the too much insects. This chapter still informs as if of a transmission of the virus of the affection. This study it can interest the professionals of the health area and all those worried to inquire itself on this so common and so serious illness, in order to collaborate with the preservation of the proper and other people’s health.
